This is why:
YIKES!
I do hope you got up at 7am and ran with the team and are now happily indoors, someplace cool, feeling smug that you got a half dozen miles in your logbook!
I do love banging out my run early…I hope you are joining the early run club, too!
Another Race
In one of the first years that the Wharf to Wharf race was created, Coach Flatow ran this race with some of his high school cross country and track teammates…and the race is still going strong. It’s fun! You don’t have to race this as a flat-out race (I don’t want you to use this as a race!), just use it as a run with a few thousand of your fellow runners, or use it as a tempo, or hammer the end just for fun. And you get a t-shirt and you can eat at Gayle’s Bakery after. It’s fun to remember that people of all ages like to run and compete. More information is here. It’s a fun run and a good excuse to head to the coast for a run!
