The 2016 Track and Field on-line gear store is now up and running for orders! Here is what is waiting for you…
Training Shirts: You can order short sleeve technical training shirts, in either men’s or women’s styles. This year, by request, the shirts will be an iron gray color. Your first shirt will cost only $5, there is a discount built in for your first shirt. You can order SPRINT, RUN, THROW, JUMP or HURDLE shirts (or TRACK for those of you that can’t make up your mind!), and parents can order a PARENT shirt to support your athlete! If you want a second shirt the cost will be the actual cost to make the shirt. (Hurdlers–HURDLE backs are available on the drop-down menu, even though the image is not shown.)
Sweatshirt: This is going to be a wet winter, and we thought you might want to have a nice sweatshirt to keep you warm. We think this high quality sweatshirt will get the job done while looking stylish and showing your team pride, too!
Training Shorts: Sometimes you don’t want to warm up in your track pants, but you want something longer than your racing shorts. Finally, we have a middle option! Here are 7″ long purple mesh shorts, good for training and also something to wear over your racing shorts. Maybe you want two pair?
Speaking of shorts…people, wearing compression shorts under split racing shorts is not a good look! No professional or collegiate runners wear that combo. Pick one! Monta Vista loans everyone a high quality, lightweight racing short…if you want to race in a compression short, boys can buy a purple Nike filament short (here is one sold at Running Warehouse); for girls, ASICs makes a couple of compression shorts that match our gear exactly such as this baseline short. We still think that the split shorts we provide feel and look great, but if you truly feel better in a compression short, buy a purple short that matches our gear and wear that exclusively. Don’t break a fashion rule (or a uniform rule).
Delivery: Make your order now, we plan on closing the store in mid-February to start production, and deliver your gear in early March! The clothing will be brought to the track and we will hand deliver to you!
