Running on the Oregon Coast with my cross country team is going to be one of my best memories for a long time…it was a gray, cool morning, the tide was going out, the beach was pretty much empty, and everyone on the team was happy to be young and strong and fast.  We had 22 medals and two plaques from the prior day, which did not hurt the mood a bit, but even if we had not won a thing we would still have embraced the joy of a great run on the beach with our team, plus Amy and Alistair Cragg.
The morning was like being part of the movie, Chariots of Fire.
Words can’t describe the morning, but I hope the photos do! Â An unforgettable day.
