I didn’t want to let this last week go by without some acknowledgement.
The week after our first invitational is typically a ‘heavy’ week of training. After a month or so of training, the first race reminds us of why we are training–the races! And so we like to schedule an open race week after that first race so we can come back and really hit the trails for some solid training.
And last week, we did!
Congrats and well done to everyone on a good week of work. Some of you had some PRs–longest continuous run ever, first time non-stop from the RR tracks to the top Up and Over, first time on the Garrods’ Gate extension for Up and Over, most Dirty 6s, most miles in a week…many of you had an opportunity to PR once or multiple time and you took that opportunity! And we all had a great week of training that will pay off in October and November.
Good work, all of you!
See you back at practice on Monday!
Next Up: The University of the Pacific Tiger Invitational.
