Well, probably…as we all have learned during a year of a pandemic, plans can change. However as I write this post, it sure looks like the MVXC team is going to be racing on the Los Altos High School campus next Saturday, February 20. So…
Athletes will have a zoom meeting on Monday, February 15 at 3pm to review the details of our upcoming race at Los Altos.
There will be a parent meeting on zoom Monday, February 15 at 7pm to let our families know what is coming up and answer questions.
Team, we are getting close…it’s been 49 weeks since Rustbuster, but we may be racing again in just one week more!
Practice Recap
MVXC now has two weeks of practice under our belts…and the team has a lot of energy. We have had around 30 athletes running every day, including athletes from the basketball, water polo and wrestling teams that are looking for competitive experiences. We have had long muddy runs on Up and Over and Garrods, solid track workouts, a mile time trial, hill repeats and a fast Palm Ave tempo. As we have got closer to race day, the energy and chatter shown by the team is has increased daily. The energy is exciting to see! Keep it up, team…we are getting close!
