Up Regnart–that is just getting started!
MVXC15 made the first–but definitely not last!–climb up Fire Trail on Monday!
For new and for returning runners, the first time we grind up Regnart and then Fire Trial is a bit of a tester, but this is also something that veteran runners secretly look forward to. Running up Fire Trail is a sign that training for the season is really kicking in to gear. Everyone who has run a season with MVXC knows that while the Fire Trail climb never gets to be easy…the difference in how that hill feels the first time, and how that hill feels in October, is night-and-day.
At the top of Fire Trail, we have the traditional greeting-tunnel for all the runners, and then the bolder runners head off for our first set of hill repeats on Matt’s Hill. This year I thought there were a particularly aggressive group of runners rolling up MH…this bodes well for your performance this season!
Well done, everyone!
A welcome sight!
Greetings, teammate!
Single track on the way to Matt’s Hill.
Let’s do this!!!
Money in the bank.
I can see the top!
It is always possible to smile! A smile makes everything easier.
Good work!
