These are my last few days in Baltimore. I’m not-so-patiently waiting on my instructors to finish grading my final papers and grinding through my thesis capstone. And…we have championships to celebrate, coast-to-coast!
MVTF!
Congratulations, ladies, on your El Camino League Championship! I was watching from afar…it was so cool to see so many great performances pop up on the live results. I was imagining how happy you all were with so many PRs! I was bragging about you to many people here, including a special friend who I hope you recognize:

I’m so proud of all of you, girls and boys! I know you worked hard all season. That grit paid off, now and in the future, I believe it. You are a fantastic group!
Send me photos.
Gooooooooooo Hop!
Meanwhile, in Allentown, Pennsylvania, the Hopkins Blue Jay women were winning a twinning championship–also in similarly wet, rough weather. I feel like I was part of two wet championships in one season!
UPenn Graduation
Just like our seniors, I am getting ready for graduation. Mrs. Flatow arrives in Philadelphia next Thursday, then my Master’s program has it’s graduation on Saturday. The University of Pennsylvania honors the entire school with a mass graduation on Monday, including all the undergrads as well as the grad programs–I understand that is pretty much a zoo. Then I go back to Baltimore for Hopkins graduation (Triya Roy MV2020 is graduating!), and finally back to California in time for Monta Vista’s graduation. Three grad ceremonies in three weeks!
I’m leaving Baltimore with a lot of fond memories…see below.
Don’t forget, cross country is coming!
