It’s RustBuster Week!
On Saturday, Monta Vista High School hosts our own track and field invitational, the season-opening RustBuster! This year, competition features Lynbrook, Menlo-Atherton, San Lorenzo Valley, Milpitas, Leigh, St. Ignatius, Castelleja, Santa Clara, Half Moon Bay and other fine teams.
The meet starts at 8:30am with field events–shot, discus, long, triple and high jumps. At 9:00am we fire the first gun, with the Varsity girls’ 100m hurdles warming up the track. After that, the meet runs on a ‘rolling schedule’–we move along as fast as we can. We plan to wrap up the 2020 RustBuster before 3pm (touch wood!).

Check back on mvrunning on Thursday night for a complete meet performance list (a performance list is a program with all the athletes entered and their seed marks).
