Welcome, parents, to a brand new season of Monta Vista Track and Field!
Many parents are new to MVTF–the team has a record number of athletes on the initial roster! We are excited to meet all of the new parents at one of our track meets, starting next month (wow, the seasons happens fast).
As we get rolling…please take a few minutes, and go to the Monta Vista Athletic Boosters web site, and join the Boosters to support the 2017 season for the track and field team!
Most of your membership fee–$40–goes directly back to the track team. The other $25 of your membership goes into a general fund to support facilities and common use resources, such as our fine athletic trainer. Also, we can apply for grants for this general fund; and I have NEVER been turned down by the MVAB board for anything I have requested for the track or cross teams (including financial assistance for uniforms, canopies, hydration equipment, and travel support to compete at the State Championships).
I can tell you from my heart, we would not have the program that we have built without the support of you and MVAB. MVAB has had my back since the first day I arrived at Monta Vista.
