On Top Of Prospect Trail, Quicksilver Park–December 2014
To celebrate the end of finals, MVXC-MVTF will be hosting a post-finals fun adventure run at Almaden Quicksilver Park! This will be a fun (but challenging–hilly and probably muddy) run, mostly single track with great views and very pretty. The run is very hilly and kinda tough but don’t worry if you have not been training super hard, we are not in a rush–this is a fun run not a training run! There will be two run options, one around 6 miles and one around 8 miles.
You will need a ride to the start…the start of the run is at the gate to the park where McAbee Road meets Whispering Pines Drive in San Jose. Parents, there is nice hiking if you want to hike while we run, or not too far away there is a Peets on Almaden Expressway right next to a huge Whole Foods Market–so you can grab coffee, read the paper, and pick up groceries then come pick us back up.
