The Central Coast Section Cross Country Championships will be Saturday, November 10th at Crystal Springs. The first race will be the Boys’ Division II race at 10am, followed by the Girls’ Division II race at 10:35; from then on races will be every 35 minutes, alternating boys and girls, for each division II-III-IV-V-I (see the CCS site). Monta Vista is D1 so this is saving the best for last; the MVXC boys will race at 2:40pm and the girls will race at 3:15pm. Awards ceremonies for each division will be immediately after the girls’ races are complete.
We will be running the same 14 athletes who ran varsity for MVXC at the SCVAL championships, and Matthew Sun, Elisabeth Hsu and Anjali Thontakudi will be alternates.
We hope that there will be many athletes, friends and family members out to cheer for our teams! There will be an admission charge of $10 per adult and $5 per student, children five and under are free. All participants and alternates in uniform will also be admitted at no charge.
We are all responsible for our own transportation, no ride pool will be organized by the team for this week–you should work out your own ride pools.
