Coach Amy asked me to forward this on to the team…
I hope everyone is doing alright! I know sometimes it’s hard to think of what you can do at home or how to stay social and find things to do with friends. One of my friends who is a middle school teacher is compiling a resource list of things to do at home (such as free classes or online games that students can use to hang out/play). It’s a difficult time and there’s a lot of uncertainty too, but the amount of free classes and resources that are being provided for the community is really inspiring. It’s okay to be upset and feel disappointed and frustrated from what’s happening. What matters is that you look at what you can do in the situation to make the most out of it. Whether that’s spending time on Zoom or Discord with friends or working on that personal project you’ve been putting off, don’t let this time idly pass you by.  Make the most of it.  It’s a good time to learn some new skills or try out some new activities (in addition to your social distancing workout 😉 ). This is the link for the list: tinyurl.com/homehappy
I know we haven’t gotten to know each other for very long, but I hope you all stay safe! Know that I’m just an e-mail or phone call away if you want to talk to someone about what’s going on or just want to chat.
