The fourth annual Run-To-Kick-Off-The-Summer will be held on Sunday, June 4, 2017!
Everyone meets at 7:45am in the MV bus circle, where we load the bus and head to Felton. From Felton, we run along the railroad tracks about seven miles to the Santa Cruz Beach Boardwalk, where we cool off by diving in the ocean…and stay to hang out together on the beach all day! What a great way to salute the end of track season and the school year, and get set for a summer of running.
This summer run is open to track athletes, cross country athletes, alumni…and just about anyone. We had quite a few sprinters join us last year and they found out that this run was manageable and the day was fun! Please invite people that you want to ‘recruit’ for cross country–I’d bet that there are soccer players who would enjoy this run too!
Contact Akshara or Derek about signing up; they have the sign up form (not coach!). The trip is limited to the first 50 people to get in their money and release forms.
