Yes, it may be hard to believe, but in less than four weeks the Monta Vista track and field team will regroup and hold our first practice of the 2019 season! If you want that first set of 200 repeats to feel manageable and not soul-crushing, it might be a good idea to get out your trainers and start putting in some work :). If you get out and do some training on your own or with other students in January, you will feel much more capable in February that many of your teammates!
Also, check out the updated cross country records…we have updated the top times for all the XC courses that we run frequently. Both the boys and the girls on the 2018 did some major rewriting, with 28 individual marks added to the Monta Vista all-time best lists! What a great XC season we had…we are looking forward to a fine 2019 track season coming up!
