The 2021 Monta Vista Cross Country parent meeting will be held on Wednesday, August 25 at 7pm. The school has let me know that athletics’ team parent meetings may not be in person at this time, so unfortunately this meeting will be on Zoom. (Personally, I am craving the time when we get back to in-person meetings…not only for myself, in this case, but for you parents. I think there is something valuable and enjoyable that comes from sitting next to someone you don’t know and asking, “what year is your child? How many years has she been on the cross country team?” I hope that parents all reach out and get to know each other when you can…I think that the XC family can go beyond the kids to include the adults.)
Also, parents…if you have not joined the Monta Vista Athletic Boosters yet, please please PLEASE join now! MVAB is a great program and provides most of the funding for our wonderful MVXC team. Let’s see if we can have a high percentage of parents joined up before our meeting on Wednesday!
